YS::Desktop 1.2 : your battles, your constraints, your rules. The solution adapts.

“I wandered in the office lonely as a cloud that floats on high o’er meetings and calls, when all at once I saw a message, an update, the 1.2 version released today. The new features outdid the previous version I had known. A lonely admin could not but be glee in the face of such a jocund breeze of change.”
YS::Desktop runs simultaneously multiple fully isolated work environments on one laptop. Including offline. Each environment has its own security policies, dedicated resources, and unique network identity. No compromise on performance. No compromise on the user experience.
Our new version 1.2 makes everyday use easier for all users: simplified administration, improved stability, and seamless integration designed for your most demanding environments.
Clearer configuration, so you can get straight to the point with confidence
Accessibility matters for the admin as much as it does for the end-user. YS::Desktop’s central administration console was made to ease administrators’ day-to-day operations.
Version 1.2 introduces a completely new design featuring a fresh interface, built-in contextual guidance for each setting, and enhanced configuration validation.
Less time spent searching, fewer mistakes, and more time for what really matters.
Seamless integration for your most complex network architectures
Network architectures in sensitive or industrial environments are rarely simple: VLANs, isolated segments, VPNs… the administration console can be deployed anywhere within your network.
YS::Desktop adapts accordingly, routing its own traffic (NTP, DNS, syslog, etc.) in a way that fits your setup, including in bridge mode or over a VPN, to ensure data security.
It’s the solution that adapts to your architecture, not the other way around.
Locked to the world, open only to the user
An employee loses their laptop. In whose hands is he now? In a sensitive environment, that’s the kind of scenario that keeps you up at night.
You can now configure a boot PIN: without the code, the disk cannot be decrypted, and the machine remains completely inaccessible. No environments available, no data exposed.
What you can’t control physically, you secure in other ways.
Your certificates in the right place, at the right time automatically
Manually managing certificates is a tedious and time-consuming task that can quickly block users if a mistake is made.
With version 1.2, you can configure your enterprise PKI directly from the administration console. From there, each device automatically generates and retrieves its own keys and certificates.
No manual intervention, no risk of overlooking a critical component.
